What dietary requirements do you cater for?
We will try and accommodate any dietary requirements and will discuss these with you prior to accepting an order. Our most frequent requests are for vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free food. We have also catered for those on a vegan, sugar-free, soy-free or pork free diet.
What can't you say you are a gluten-free caterer?
People who are Coeliac can react to a single particle of wheat, therefore unless the kitchen being used has no wheat in it at any time, I cannot claim to be gluten-free. At Wombie's Kitchen, we can only say we use gluten-free ingredients when asked. We wash everything before its used, some equipment is only for gluten-free food and we scrupulously label our food with allergen labels to ensure we know what's in our food. We are so proud you choose us to provide gluten-free food for you.
Do you have sustainable packaging?
This is something that I am passionate about. I use recycled business cards and promotional materials. All boxes & bags are recyclable or made from sustainable materials. All plastic pots can be recycled. All macaron boxes are made from sustainably sourced food-safe board and recycled plastic. Our take-away food pots are 100% Biodegradable.
How much notice do you need to make my order?
I ask for as much notice as you can give, especially at busy times like Easter, Christmas, Father's Day and Mother's Day. At other times it will be 2 - 3 days and I will email you to coordinate pick up.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we do deliver. Not everything is available to be delivered. The website is clear as to which products can and can't be posted. Postage is calculated at checkout.
